Meet Auggie, the new tiger puppet in Engagement and Outreach.
Your donations made it possible to immediately answer, "Yes!" when the Library asked if the Foundation could help purchase a tiger puppet.
Auggie was properly educated on how to be a true Auburn Tiger using books in the APL collection. He's ready for his puppet show debut!
APL Coffee Corner now presented by FiH Vending Solutions.
Drew Friedman from Friedman Investments and Holdings LLC now supplies the coffee pods, sugar, and creamer for the APL Coffee Corner.
Formerly, the APL Foundation provided funding for the coffee pods and supplies. Your Foundation donation can go even further thanks to FiH Vending for donating the needed supplies.
Coffee is provided free to all library patrons in the computer lounge.
Stitch Therapy donates a sewing machine for the new Makers Lounge.
Debbie Hillestad, owner of Auburn sewing shop Stitch Therapy, is also partnering with the Auburn Public Library to train APL staff on the new sewing machines and provide future programming support.
The Makers Lounge will include an additional sewing machine donated by Ayesha and Ali Asim. Amy Jensen is funding startup sewing supplies. The Cotton Boll Quilt Guild is creating a new quilt for display along with donating additional funding for sewing materials.
