Advocating for Auburn Public Library initiatives for nearly 30 years.

About

New Name. Same Mission.

For over 20 years, the Friends of the Auburn Public Library has operated as the fundraising entity for the library. Our many volunteers have hosted events and produced fundraising campaigns that have had a significant impact on helping fund library programs and initiatives.

Now, we'll be doing the same good work as the Auburn Public Library Foundation.

Under this new name, the Auburn Public Library Foundation (APLF) will continue to promote and support the   Auburn Public Library and its continued expansion; to focus public attention on library services, facilities, and needs; and to solicit gifts for the benefit of the library and our community.

Get Involved

If you would like to be involved in supporting your local public library, you can do any or all of the following:

  • Visit - Stop by the Auburn Public Library regularly to borrow books, audiobooks, movies, or magazines, or download ebooks and digital magazines from anywhere. If our library staff can help you find a good book or research a topic of interest, let them know.

  • Advocate - If you have a story about how your local library has made a difference in your life, share it with your family, friends, and neighbors.

  • Donate - Monetary donations, in whatever amount, are an important contribution toward a strong partnership between the library and the community.
